## Summary

The University of Strathclyde initiated a public procurement process for the project titled "Research into the Impact of Renewable Energy Systems on Aquaculture Productivity". This tender falls under the education sector and is located in Glasgow, UK. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, and the tender stage is currently active. Bids for this tender were required to be submitted electronically by 9 November 2018, marking a crucial deadline in the procurement timeline. This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on environmental research, particularly those specialising in marine biology, renewable energy impact assessments, or aquaculture systems. Companies with a strong technical background in analytical and numerical modelling, as well as experimental design relevant to marine environments, will find this project particularly aligned with their expertise. The winning bidder will effectively collaborate with the University of Strathclyde, enhancing their visibility and credibility within the academic and governmental sectors, which could lead to further contracts and partnerships in related fields.

## Notice

The winning bidder shall conduct both analytical and numerical modelling, as well as experimental activities to be planned, executed and post- processed. ### Lot Information

Lot 1

The winning bidder shall conduct both analytical and numerical modelling, as well as experimental activities to be planned, executed and post- processed. The aim of this task is to evaluate the impact of the close co-location of an aquaculture system with the other systems of the multi-purpose platform set within the context of the local marine environment. Relevant literature exists on the interaction and impact of renewable energy offshore systems on the local marine environment and specific receptor animals, such as fish (especially for the offshore wind industry). The first stage of this task will be to summarise these studies and consider the relevance of the findings to the case where an aquaculture system is sited in close proximity to renewable energy systems The second aim of this task is, to the best extent, refine the modelling approach and the output implemented in the first task, through focus fish growth experiments under different conditions associated with the multi-use platform.
