## Summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is currently engaged in the procurement of a Scheme Manager for the Edinburgh Trusted Trader Scheme, an ongoing initiative to assist local residents in selecting reputable tradespersons. This procurement process, classified under the services category, is being conducted using an open procedure, with the tender recently reaching the award stage. The contract signed on 28th March 2019 is valued at £340,300. The primary location for the services is Edinburgh, with a contract timeline that may extend based on performance, following an initial period of three years.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in services related to community-based trade and local business management. Companies that can offer expertise in developing and maintaining feedback systems and reliable customer service frameworks will be particularly well-suited to compete. Small to medium enterprises (SMEs) have an advantageous position as they can closely relate to the local community, fulfilling the Council's expectation of enhancing community engagement and sponsorship of local charities or groups as part of the tendering process.

## Notice
