## Notice

East Renfrewshire Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the construction of a new nursery class extension at St Cadoc's Primary School. The works to be undertaken by the successful contractor comprises the provision of a Nursery within an existing building attached to the Primary School comprising: 1. Alterations to existing building to form new play areas, kitchen and laundry facilities, office and staff bases, toilets, stores, cloaks and outdoor all weather space. 2. Construction of small extensions (2No) comprising boot room and children's' WCs. Works include, but are not limited to down takings, builders work, roofing, plumbing, mechanical and electrical installations, windows, doors, roof lights, floor, wall and ceiling finishes, decoration, drainage and external works, playground alterations and equipment, fencing.

Lot 1

1. Works in the school playground shall be carried out during part of the school summer holidays -28/6/19 to 22/7/19. 2. The working area shall be closed off from the existing school buildings. 3. Due to the nature of this project certain works may be instructed to be carried out at weekends. 4. Approximately 48 hours before handover the Contractor shall demonstrate that all Mechanical and Electrical works and domestic appliances are working efficiently.
