The Authority is seeking to appoint a suitably skilled, resourced and experienced contractor to undertake alterations to existing classrooms at St David's RC Primary School, Dalkeith, in order to form a new Nursery. The project requires an experienced contractor in refurbishments of school buildings. The works will include demolition, services alterations, formation of new rooms and welfare facilities and reception areas. The building is to remain occupied during the works by the school therefore, care to be considered to enable uninterrupted delivery to the school provision. This will be set out in detail and mutually agreed as part of the award process at 2nd stage ITT. Asbestos has been identified within the building this should be considered to be removed as part of the works.
