The works comprise the following: - Roof works - Replacement of slate roof coverings. - Replacement of existing leadworks to and all associated lead flashings - Stonework -general cleaning and repointing of stonework - stonework repairs and replacement as directed - Refixing, ensuring stability of stone copes as directed - Rainwater installation- replacement/refurbishment of cast iron rainwater installation. - Rot works - Where identified and as instructed carry out rot works to building structure. The contract shall include the reinstatement works as required due to rot works undertaken: - General Decoration of the areas affected by rot works and reinstatement. - Replacement of the external lighting installation around the cell block - Structural works to stabilise the gable stoneworks.
