Ground works and remediation

The procurement is for all works for the creation of clean and stable platform for the creation of a new 7ha public park and greenspace, incorporating hard and soft landscaping, play and sport facilities. The works include: - Design applicable for the validation of ground works following planning approval (at RIBA Stage 3) to confirm void areas requiring consolidation - Groundworks and ground stability mitigation works including breaking out, filling and stabilising voids - Compaction/stabilising of existing ground surface prior to cover layer - Supply and installation of geogrid (over areas of minor voids) and geotextile over existing ground surface - Supply and installation of granular site capping / drainage layer - Complete works in line with an Asbestos Management Plan

Main works

The procurement is for all works for the creation of a new 7ha public park and greenspace, incorporating hard and soft landscaping, play and sport facilities. The works include: - All design following planning approval (at RIBA Stage 3) - Supply and installation of growing layer materials - Supply and installation of geotextile/geogrid to separate cover soils from underlying drainage/capping layer. - Supply/construction/installation of hard landscaping features including pathways, access roads, surfaces, furniture, play equipment - Supply/construction/installation of soft landscaping features - Supply/construction/installation of utilities and infrastructure including drainage, power, lighting, Wi-Fi - Supply/construction/installation of sports pitches and associated works - Maintenance for two year period post completion
