Langstane Housing Association is a Social Housing Provider with a head office in Aberdeen City. The Association is procuring a 6 week contract which will include the removal of the existing communal lighting, the installation of LED bulkhead lighting (with emergency and microwave sensor), the installation of a radio linked fire detection system, EICR and electrical installation certificates and remedial decoration/making good works limited to the affected areas. The successful contractor will also undertake any C1 and C2 items identified in the EICR and in some cases there may be a requirement to upgrade the lighting installation/upgrade components. The successful contractor will include any additional costs to ensure compliance with the Working at Height Regulations. The Association has nominated approved suppliers for all luminaries and the radio linked fire detection system. Contractors will be provided with the suppliers specifications and costs with the tender documentation and will include an % uplift on material costs as part of the tender value. 12 Blocks are in Aberdeen City and 1 is located in Peterhead.
