ScotRail's expectation is that the total number of frontline managers to be trained at ILM Level 2/3 is 400 and the total number of middle managers trained at ILM Level 5 is 200. One of ScotRail's key objectives is to build effective leadership, providing frontline and middle management training is vital to achieving this to ensure our employees are supported and managed effectively. This specification sets out requirements for developing our frontline and middle management population and providing them with a recognised leadership and management qualification. The primary aim of the new contract will be to deliver training that develops the skills and capabilities of our frontline and middle management population so that they can inspire and drive high operational performance and customer excellence.
