## Summary

The Dunoon Area Alliance has recently concluded the procurement process for the "Dunoon Area Alliance Making Places Project," aimed at enhancing play areas and outdoor activity spaces in Dunoon, UK. The procurement was conducted through an open methodology, focusing on services required from specialists who can engage creatively with the community to develop a design masterplan. Key dates include the submission deadline of 12.00 noon on 14th January 2019, with contract completion expected by 29th March 2019. The project is valued at £15,000 and falls within the area of local area partnership and regeneration.

This tender presents significant opportunities for consultants and firms specialising in community-led design, outdoor activity space development, and public consultation engagement. Businesses that possess expertise in innovative design approaches, particularly those that can effectively involve diverse community groups, would be well-suited to compete for similar contracts. Engaging effectively with families, young people, and individuals with additional support needs is crucial, making this an attractive project for companies with a track record in inclusive and participatory design methodologies.

## Notice

People from across the town will be invited to get involved in the design process, taking inspiration from innovative approaches from across the country and internationally. The process will produce a 'design masterplan' that outlines the location and style of the community's preferred options along with the anticipated costs. The final report will also highlight any ownership and maintenance issues and provide a list of funding and partnership opportunities to be taken forward.
