### Lot Information

Lot 1

Glasgow City Council (GCC) Land and Environmental Services are responsible for the on going monitoring and maintenance of the city's closed landfill sites. The council manages five closed landfill sites: Cathkin 1, Cathkin 2, Kilgarth, Summerston and Wilderness. At this time, the two main sites requiring pumps are Cathkin 2 and Summerston landfills. This involves the siting and management of pumps of varying types and sizes to control and manage surface water (which can contain suspended solids) and leachate to meet the specific permit requirements of the landfill sites. This all must be managed in accordance to Regulations as the council retains Scottish Environmental Protection Agency License (SEPA) and permits. The following types of pumps will be required: 1/Diesel Operated Pumps to include but not limited to solid handling/suction and deep excavation hydraulic pumps 2/Electric Operated Pumps to include but not limited to solid and drainage pumps
