A free standing bollard style charging unit or unit which could be mounted on existing street furniture or similar. Charging points which connect to street lighting columns are not appropriate as these are generally located at the rear of the footway in Clackmannanshire. The charging unit must be accessible for blue badge holders. A dual charging point would be advantageous. A layout design which minimises the trip hazard to pedestrians from charging cables. A design which minimises the need for additional street furniture, e.g. signing and feeder pillars which can be incorporated into a single design solution or which can be integrated with existing street furniture or the charging unit itself. The unit must be a minimum of 7kW, although a 22kW solution would be desired in certain locations.
