Lot 1

HITRANS wish to commission a marketing consultant to develop and implement a marketing campaign for an electric bus service to be operated in Moray. This service forms part of a European INTERREG North Sea Region project titled Green Passenger Transport in Rural Areas (G-PaTRA). A new scheduled bus service is to be introduced serving parts of rural Moray which currently have no access to regular bus services. The service will operate from Aberlour to Forres via Knockando, offering both commuter and social links currently unavailable. The scope of the project is to test the efficiency and reliability of an electric vehicle in a challenging rural environment, promoting a carbon neutral alternative to the motor car on this corridor. HITRANS expects the marketing campaign to encompass the following activities. Please note that this list is not exhaustive and we encourage further input from tenderers. - Campaign management - Design of artwork - Production and distribution of leaflets in the local area - Full exterior vinyl wrap of the electric bus and other necessary vinyl's - Door-to-door marketing (delivering promotional packs etc.) - Pocket timetable leaflets - Social media marketing - Bus stop flags and displays - Press, radio and TV advertising where appropriate - Publicity events, including a launch event and further campaign events as needed - Social media - Digital Marketing - General guidance on marketing strategy in liaison with Moray Council in respect of target markets and appropriate strategies to use to reach these target markets. - Fares & Fares promotion and input into pricing strategy but not in the initial phases of the campaign this is envisaged at a later stage

Renewal: An extension might be reviewed should further funding be awarded.
