## Summary

The Forestry Commission is planning a tender for a Framework Agreement for the Supply of Forestry Planting Stock, with an estimated value of £6,200,000. The procurement will involve deliveries to various sites across Scotland and is anticipated to last for three years, with a possible one-year extension at the discretion of the Commission. This procurement is categorised under environmental protection and will be split into three lots: Bare-Root Conifers, Bare-Root Broadleaves, and Cell-Grown Conifers. Interested parties should be registered on the Forestry Reproductive Materials Register and are encouraged to register their interest by the future notice date of 14 January 2019.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in the forestry and horticulture sectors, particularly those that supply plants and trees. Companies that focus on sustainable sourcing and cultivation practices will find themselves well-positioned to compete, especially those capable of providing species listed in the procurement notice. Businesses looking to expand within the environmental protection industry would benefit from preparing their registrations and aligning their offerings with the strict health and provenance requirements set by the Forestry Commission.
