### Lot Information

Lot 1

The SPS has a wide range of equipment which is included within the scope of the Maintenance of Boilers, Burners, Heating, Ancillary Equipment and Gas Infrastructure contract. This equipment is utilised to provide a suitable living and working environment within SPS properties by providing heating and hot water. The equipment requires to be fully tested, operational and operate at maximum efficiency at all times. The Contract shall support this requirement by providing safe and suitable planned maintenance and reactive activities, integrity inspections, test and certification services to a minimum of SFG20 specification where SFG20 fully meets or exceeds the requirements of statutory regulations, manufacturer's instructions, British and EU Standards, and the operational requirements of the Establishment. Remedial work and the provision of replacement equipment is also included within this contract. This contract is for 10 directly managed prisons, a college (SPSC), central stores and an administrative headquarters at Calton House to support the operations of the prisons, in total 13 Establishments. (Note: 3 Establishments, namely HMP Grampian, HMP Inverness and Open Estate Castle Huntly are NOT included in this contract) The contract term will be an initial 3 years with an optional extension period of up to 3 years.
