### Procurement Information

Competition is absent for technical reasons under Reg 33(1)(b)(ii). The management and development services are required for a project to design an experimental system. The overall project is to undertake a front-end engineering design (FEED) study as the first stage in the development of a barrier qualification rig for the testing of novel/innovative barriers/plugs for well plugging and abandonment. Dual competencies in both thermite systems and bismuth alloy reaction behaviour at downhole pressures and temperatures are required to develop the project. Knowledge and experience of building test facilities for ISO14310 testing of plugs/packers, which is a core requirement of this project. This is an emerging market and Isol8 Ltd has been identified as the only supplier known to have the knowledge and experience required within the alternative barrier technology space. And, they have been involved with research in this field.
