## Summary

West Lothian Council has completed the procurement process for the "CC9438 - Skolie Burn Bridge Replacement Works" project, which aimed to replace the Skolie Burn Bridge located in Livingston, Scotland. The tender, classified under the works category and initiated through an open procedure, had a value of £2,000,000. The submission deadline was on 20 March 2019, with the contract officially signed on 15 April 2019. The project involved maintaining pedestrian and vehicle access during the construction period and required a qualified contractor to handle the restoration of the bridge structure.

This tender presents significant opportunities for construction firms, especially those specialising in civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Companies with experience in bridge construction, project management, and relevant technical capabilities would be well-positioned to pursue similar contracts. Furthermore, firms capable of providing subcontracting services for specific aspects of the construction may also find advantageous business openings in such publicly funded projects.
