### Procurement Information

A negotiated procedure with Pandrol UK Limited was deemed the only possible route as nobody else is able to supply SPT for all their track furniture. Some of the components are bespoke Pandrol design for SPT and it would not be appropriate to lot to ensure consistency of product and for trace ability of any future product failures. SPT intends to award a negotiated contract without prior publication, as per section 33(b)(ii) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 (which allows for the absence of competition due to technical reasons).
