The project will be procured via a "two-stage design and build" procurement with the design team being novated to the principal contractor at the end of the second procurement stage. In conjunction with the Employer's Agent, the successful Stage One contractor will take a lead role in managing the RIBA Stage4 Design Process and subsequent work package procurement activities, advise on issues of practicality, buildability, co-ordination and efficiency. The contractor must become an active member of the professional team and be integral to the design process, timing and overall successful project delivery.
