This mini competition will represent year 2 of the aforementioned framework agreement and will be for the period 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020. It should be noted that addresses will change as a result of no access, tenant refusals, incorrect stock data and prioritisation therefore the address list provided should be seen as indicative.

Lot 1

The work comprises of Gas Central Heating/ Boiler Replacement, planned heating replacement in 3 phases and ad hoc heating over the entire period of the contract. The Works comprise stripping out of existing, design and installation of replacement of boiler and gas central heating systems to properties within East Renfrewshire. The ad hoc works are to be carried out on a reactive basis to replace boilers that have failed and the contractor will be expected to replace boilers and heating systems within a period of 72 hours. Each property must have the replacement heating system fully operational within a 72 hour period from receipt of the instruction for that dwelling or as otherwise agreed, properties will be released as of when required.. The contract value for year 2 was estimated to be in the region of 936,000GBP however following a mini competition the price to be accepted is in the region of 1,200,000GBP
