## Summary

The North Lanarkshire Council has initiated a tender for the "Aids for Daily Living Framework Agreement" aimed at supplying various aids and adaptations that facilitate daily living for service users throughout North Lanarkshire. This procurement falls under the goods category and the process is currently in the award stage. Key tasks include supplying Access and Bed Aids, Bathing and Showering equipment, Commodes and Toileting products, and more. The tender opened under the open procurement method, with the submission deadline having been earlier on the 18th of April 2019. Contracts have been signed as part of the agreement, which will be active for an initial period of 36 months, with the possibility of a further 12-month extension based on performance.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses engaged in the supply of medical equipment and assistive technologies, particularly those specialising in daily living aids and rehabilitation products. Companies of varying scales, from small and medium enterprises to larger corporations, are well-suited to compete, as the framework allows multiple suppliers per lot, fostering healthy competition. Businesses with expertise in product quality and reliable supply chains will particularly benefit, as these criteria play a crucial role in the evaluation process for contract awards.
