## Summary

The public procurement process for the "Hydro Monitoring and Maintenance" contract is led by Scottish Water, located in Stepps, Glasgow, UK. This procurement falls under the water services category and is currently at the Award stage, with contracts awarded on the 17th of June 2020 for the Southern lot and the 12th of June 2020 for the Northern lot. The contract, valued approximately at £10.8 million, has a duration from 1st February 2020 to 31st March 2024, with possible extensions. The procurement method employed is selective, using a negotiated procedure with prior call for competition and electronic submission processes for bidders.

This tender creates substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in the maintenance and operation of hydro power assets, particularly those equipped to provide remote monitoring, regular maintenance, and performance optimisation of renewable energy schemes. Companies with expertise in engineering, energy management, and those that can demonstrate a strong financial standing are well-suited to compete for this contract. The involvement in such projects not only enhances business visibility but also aligns with sustainable energy initiatives, critical in today's market.
