Provision of Audio Devices (Equipment & Accessories)

National Galleries Scotland (NGS) require a supplier to provide and maintain devices for visitors to receive audio content about the collection with ease and comfort. Beyond the device itself there will likely be headphones and lanyards to consider. The lanyards in particular may need to incorporate the identity of a sponsor.. The battery life of any device and power required to charge devices will be ensured and maximised by the supplier. NGS requires a sustainable and economical solution to benefit the galleries and its visitors.

Audio Content Production

National Galleries Scotland (NGS) require a Supplier to plan, develop and produce high quality audio-guide content for a new audio guide offer. The Supplier will be required to manage the development of audio-guide content from planning through to the provision of files for uploading to the devices. This will include the research, content development, script writing, translation, recording and supply of files in an agreed format. The contract will cover a variety of content types for tours including foreign languages; and an option for the development of content for family/children's tours, audio-descriptive and BSL tours.. The contract will include the potential for the content development of multi-media tours, in which case images and video development would be required.
