Lot 1

The Scottish Government wishes to use the resources available for advice services to achieve the greatest impact possible. A range of research, evaluation and engagement work will be undertaken to help consider how this can best be achieved. This will include engaging key stakeholders that have knowledge of advice services, reviewing relevant research & evaluation evidence and engaging the views of existing - and potential - advice service users. The work will entail a mix of research, evaluation and engagement work. The Brief is split into Part A - (Research & Evaluation) and Part B (Engagement). Consultants with relevant experience are invited to submit a proposal for Part A, Part B or both Parts A & B. The IS may appoint more than one consultant to help support this work. The initial commission will cover the period 1/4/19 - 30/6/19, with the strong likelihood of further contract(s) to be awarded beyond the initial period.
