We intend to publish the ESPD and run Skills Tests in May and June to qualify for the second stage, which will include Technical Questions and the Pricing. ### Lot Information SDA Surveys for commercially planted crops - an assessment of establishing the number of trees planted at the correct spacing. Will be split into several lots for purposes of tender Deer Dung Count Deer - Dung count - self explanatory; provides data on levels of deer density. May be split into more than one lot for purposes of tender. Walk-through Surveys Walk-throughs are a high-level survey in newly establishing forest areas to determine whether a plotting exercise is required, and what kind of management is required. This data is used to manage regeneration and planting sites.. This type of survey may be separated into multiple lots for the purposes of the tender exercise. Production Surveys Data collection gathered to inform how much timber is available or will be extracted from the site.. This may be separated into multiple lots for the purposes iof the tender. Attribute Surveys Dtaa collection, using similar techniques to production surveys, used to inform our sub compartment database as to the species composition and stocking density and various other attributes.. This type of survey may be separated into multiple lots for the purpose of the tender exercise. Hylobius Surveys Hylobius surveys - assess the population density of weevils, and their distribution through the Forestry estate.. This type of survey may be separataed into multiple lots for the purposes of the tender exercise. Drone Survey Work Drone surveys and related work - most of the work will be a wind blow event, or a fence line needs inspected, or aerial photography is needed for mapping. There will be working in a forest environment, and there may be a requirement for specialist equipment - e.g. detecting fire risks using IR Deer - Nearest Neighbour - Deer - nearest neighbour involves tracking populations of deer moving through the forest and plotting this out.. Regeneration Surveys - Regen surveys - contractors will have to do stratification, and then conduct a plot based assessment on the amount and nature of any regeneration in the area..
