Participation in this initial requirement-gathering exercise could pave the way for future contracts, making it an excellent opportunity for innovative suppliers to showcase their capabilities and establish a relationship with East Renfrewshire Council. ## Notice The purpose of this Public Information Notice is to allow East Renfrewshire Council (ERC) to engage with the marketplace and carry out a soft-market test exercise with a view to gathering requirements and confirming scope for a solution providing Digital Signage that encompasses: - Improved signposting and displays for both internal and external customers and residents. - A remote delivery mechanism capable of managing and updating content throughout the digital signage estate - A solution that caters to a the needs of a complex organisation, with elements of content and template centralization but allows sites to have a certain degree of autonomy with deploying digital content unique to them ### Lot Information Lot 1 The purpose of this Public Information Notice is to allow East Renfrewshire Council (ERC) to engage with the marketplace and carry out a soft-market test exercise with a view to gathering requirements and confirming scope for a solution providing Digital Signage that encompasses: - Improved signposting and displays for both internal and external customers and residents. - A remote delivery mechanism capable of managing and updating content throughout the digital signage estate - A solution that caters to a the needs of a complex organisation, with elements of content and template centralization but allows sites to have a certain degree of autonomy with deploying digital content unique to them In order to progress this, the Council is seeking to engage with suitably experienced providers who would provide information to assist with our requirement gathering including highlighting available technology and functionality, while also providing an approximate full lifecycle cost to enable us to correctly budget for this project. The overall solution should enable the Council to meet its obligations in respect of an enhanced user experience through easily accessible data and efficient (fully automated) processes. Please note that taking part in this soft market testing exercise does not guarantee any company any business with the Council. Should the Council decide to proceed with the procurement of any type of system it will be subject to a separate tendering process in line with the Councils Standing Orders..
