Lot 1

Under the Community Safety Partnership, Fife Council and Police Scotland (Fife Division) jointly provide public space CCTV coverage over for 12 towns and villages in Fife. This was previously a hard-wired dedicated fibre system, with 102 analogue cameras connected to a central system. In November 2018, the hard wired system was replaced with a cost-efficient 4G cloud-based system, as part of the partnership's ongoing commitment to the provision of sustainable, adaptable public-space CCTV. The replacement of the oldest cameras in the system represents the first step of reinvesting the savings back into the estate.
