This contract is for an event manager to develop and deliver a new Wild Food Festival to take place in the Forth Valley & Lomond LEADER area in Autumn 2019 (Saturday September 14) and then a second festival in Spring 2020 (first fortnight in May date tbc). The aim of the festival is to celebrate our natural environment and wild food by engaging and promoting a wide range of foraging and wild food activities across the FVL Lomond region, but with a concentration of activity and the festival hub. This one key location* will offer a mix of stalls, pop up restaurants, and workshops, but the festival is to extend beyond this, with an exciting range of wild food activities to be offered throughout the region over the full weekend. The festival will offer a mixture of free and commercial activities, and help create a name for the area as a wild food destination. *location to be identified by the event manager in discussion with the #Wildwonders steering group
