Lot 1

Fife Council is looking to engage with utility suppliers able to provide default utilities services, covering both gas and electricity supply, to void domestic properties. Properties are classed as void once a Council tenant moves on to alternative accommodation and prior to another tenant taking occupancy. Once a property is made void the Council would migrate the supply to the Default Utility Supplier. However once a property is no longer void and a tenant has taken occupancy there would be no obligation for the tenant to retain with the Default Utility Supplier. We are considering contract terms of 5 years, with the option to extend for a further 1 year, plus 1 year.. Over a period of 3 years, the average number of voids has been 2450 properties per annum.

Renewal: Option to extend for 1 year plus 1 year.
