## Notice

The Common Services Agency(more commonly known as National Services Scotland)("the authority")acting through its division Procurement, Commissioning and Facilities, is undertaking this procurement of the supply of Substance Use Intervention, Psychological and Recovery Support Services on behalf of the Contracting Authority Forth Valley Health Board, pursuant to the National Health Service(Scotland)Act1978. The contract will be entered into by Forth Valley Health Board.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

This contract will be to provide an easily accessible service, offered across the Forth Valley area, to those identified as problematic substance users. Clients will be supported to reduce the impact of problematic substance use on their lives, and on the lives of others. The primary aim is to improve the health & wellbeing of clients with alcohol and/or drug related problems through minimising their substance use and promoting their recovery. The service will provide evidence based interventions, a person-centred assessment and care plan; information, advice and support regarding substance use treatment and recovery; the service will facilitate onward referral to more relevant support services where they are not the correct service provider. The successful bidder will have the capacity to respond to, at a minimum, key-working for 600 clients on Opiate Substitute Therapy Recovery Packages within the Addiction Recovery Service, key-working for 150 clients within Primary Care OST Service, key-working for 160 clients on OST Recovery Packages within the three Forth Valley Prison establishments. The successful bidder will provide a minimum of 250 places for Community Rehabilitation, provide a minimum of 1200 places for Psychological Therapies, provide a minimum of 1000 places annually for the Harm Reduction Service and a minimum of 500 places within the core drug and alcohol service. The service provided will adhere to National Quality Principles(National Care Standard for Substance Services).
