## Summary

The procurement process involves the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, which is located at Crown Office, 25 Chambers Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1LA, UK. They are seeking to deliver IT Training programmes over the next 12 months to support their Digital Strategy initiatives. The contract titled "IT Training" is classified under the services category, specifically focusing on public order and safety. The procurement was completed via an open procedure, and the contract valued at £50,000 was signed on 25 March 2019, marking the award of a call-off type contract to QA Training.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the IT training and technology sector, particularly those offering certified courses in Microsoft and Oracle technologies. Companies specialising in skills licensing products or those providing access to online and classroom-based training would be well-suited to compete for similar contracts. The evolving digital landscape and the increasing reliance on modern Microsoft platforms create a demand for skilled training solutions, positioning vendors with expertise in these areas for growth and collaboration with public sector organisations.

## Notice

Over the next 12 months the Crown Office & Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) will be delivering a number of programmes to support our Digital Strategy initiatives. The major components of these include the introduction of new infrastructure, security, application and operational components. Most of these services rely heavily on new versions of existing Microsoft platforms. The successful delivery of these new services will require a change in skill-set from the support staff and we therefore have a requirement to provide an appropriate learning framework based on these very specific technologies and products.
