The works proposed include the design and installation of sprinkler systems and all associated works including asbestos management and removal. ### Lot Information Lot 1 The proposed procurement is for all works in relation to the installation of sprinkler systems to 22nr Tower Blocks across North Lanarkshire Council area. The proposed works include: - Design of sprinkler installations (from RIBA Stage 3); - Arranging Asbestos Refurbishment Surveys; - Removing asbestos containing materials (including notifiable, licensed and non-licensed removals); - Submission of building warrants and other statutory approvals if required; - Supply and installation of new sprinkler systems to domestic properties and common areas; - Supply and Installation of suspended ceilings in common areas; - Determining best service routes within domestic properties which cause minimal disruption; - Liaising and managing residents / tenants within domestic properties during installation works; - electrical alterations to suit new installations; - installation of smoke and heat detection to current regulations; and - structural investigations relating to tank installations. It is proposed that works will be administered via a SBCC Framework Agreement with a Design and Build Call-Off mechanism.
