Lot 1

The Works comprise the electrical re-wiring of Council dwellings. The electrical re-wiring works within individual dwellings comprise the forming of separate ring circuits to allow the kitchen to be on an independent ring circuit, extending the newly formed ring circuits to include for additional socket outlets in every room and hallway, forming cooker circuit, forming shower circuit, forming two separate lighting circuits, earthing in its entirety, all power and lighting circuits, replacing all accessories, including the consumer unit, the installation of two mains operated smoke detectors, one heat detector and the provision of all necessary test certificates.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015

Renewal: The contract period will initially be 1 year but the Council will have the option to extend the contract for up to 2 additional years ie the option to extend the contract for up to 2 additional periods of 1 year each.
