### Lot Information

Lot 1

The University of Aberdeen have appointed an effective maintenance term contract for the inspection and certification of our Roof edge protection, Fall arrest and restraint lines, throughout old Aberdeen Foresterhill and outlying areas. SDRL - Building Maintenance Unit and SDRL and IMS Gantries, that best meet the needs of the University and its customers. The contract will be in composite for: 1- Roof Edge handrail system and guard rail ladder access points. The testing, inspection, recording and certification of the equipment will be carried out in line with BS & EN recommendations as below. _ EN 13374 Class A _ EN ISO 14122 Part 3 - 4 _ NF E85-003 - EN 1991-1-4 _ BS 6399: Part 2 Code of Practice for Wind Load 2- Fall Arrest restraint equipment. The testing, inspection, recording and certification of the equipment will be carried out in line with BS & EN recommendations as below. _ BS EN 795: 2012 Protection against falls from a height: - Anchor devices - Requirements and testing _ BS 7883: 2005 Application and use of anchor devices conforming to BS EN795: 2012 _ BS 8437: 2005 Code of practice for selection, use and maintenance of personal fall protection systems and equipment for use in the work place _ BS 6037-1-2003 EN 1808 and LOLER. 3- Building Maintenance Unit. The testing, inspection, recording and certification of the equipment will be carried out in line with BS & EN recommendations as below. Building maintenance unit and monorail systems suspended access equipment is subject to a quarterly inspection regime incorporating and annual load test and through inspection under _ BS 6037-1-2003 EN 1808 and LOLER. 4- Traveling ladders and Gantry's The testing, inspection, recording and certification of the above equipment must be completed in line with BS & EN recommendations as below. _ BS 6037-Part 2:2004: Code of practice for the planning, design, installation and use of _ permanently installed access equipment Travelling ladders and gantries. _ LOLER: 1998 Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations

Renewal: We anticipate the contract to be for a period of 2 years beginning Monday 5/8/19 Subject to performance and mutual agreement, an extension period of 2 further years may be available.
