## Summary

West Lothian Council is currently conducting a procurement process for a framework agreement titled "Scaffolding works framework," aimed at sourcing capable contractors for scaffolding services. The procurement falls under the works category and is located in the West Lothian region, UK. The process is at the planning stage, having a tender period that ended on 12 July 2019, and the framework features two lots: projects under £50,000 and projects over £50,000, which will be awarded through a competitive process. The awards for both lots were signed on 5 September 2019.

This tender presents significant opportunities for growth, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the scaffolding and construction sectors. Businesses that can demonstrate experience in erecting and dismantling scaffolding, along with the ability to comply with required safety standards and insurance, may find a competitive edge. Companies are encouraged to participate actively, especially those with expertise in handling both smaller and larger scaffolding projects as set forth in the two lots. Engaging in this tender could lead to sustained business relationships and further contracts with West Lothian Council in the future.
