## Summary

Renfrewshire Council is seeking a contractor to supply sensor monitoring equipment for domestic properties, specifically focusing on monitoring internal environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels. This procurement falls under the goods category and is currently in the Tender stage, with the tender period ending on 19 August 2019. The contract will cover the Renfrewshire area, and the procurement process is conducted via an open procedure. Interested parties are encouraged to engage as the new procurement aims to enhance service delivery within the Council's housing portfolio.

This contract presents an excellent opportunity for businesses that specialise in environmental sensors, smart home technology, or data analytics services. Companies offering maintenance-free, discreet sensor solutions, along with strong capabilities in wireless networking and software as a service (SaaS) systems, would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. Additionally, contractors experienced in warranty provision and installation support will find fitting opportunities, as the Council's in-house team will manage sensor installations, necessitating collaboration and training support from the selected supplier.

## Notice

The Council requires a single contractor to supply an end to end service to monitor the internal environmental conditions (including temperature, humidity and Co2 levels) within domestic properties owned by the Council. The contractor must provide all environmental sensors, a wire-free network for connection to a software system and a software as a service system to provide the Council with data, reports and analysis of any environmental data collected including recommendations on a per property basis. Environmental Sensors provided must be small, discrete and unobtrusive with no pilot lights or active light and no greater surface than a standard wall light switch. Sensors should be provided with suitable fixings to be securely fixed to walls/ceilings, will be battery powered and tamper -proof. Due to access issues, the Council's in-house team will install the sensors within the domestic properties and the contractor will provide appropriate warranties to support this requirement.
