StartScotland Limited is currently seeking a new partner join an already established supply chain to help deliver the Fair Start Employability Services Programme in Lot 5 East - North West Edinburgh (Almond; Drum Brae / Gyle; Corstorphine / Murrayfield; Inverleith; Forth) The Fair Start Employability Programme is commissioned by the Scottish Government's with the aim of delivering high quality employment support to targeted Participants' who want and need help to enter and remain in work. It provides Participants with pre-employment support for a period of up to 12 months (there is potential of additional 6 months support for Intense Participants), and In-Work support for a period of up to 12 months. The Service will support Participants who face a range of barriers to employment: from those who may require skills, health or literacy and numeracy support; to those for whom complex barriers and/or disabilities require more specialised support to help them find and sustain employment.

Lot 1

StartScotland Limited is currently seeking a new partner join an already established supply chain to help deliver the Fair Start Employability Services Programme in Lot 5 East - North West Edinburgh (Almond; Drum Brae / Gyle; Corstorphine / Murrayfield; Inverleith; Forth). The Fair Start Employability Programme is commissioned by the Scottish Government's with the aim of delivering high quality employment support to targeted Participants who want and need help to enter and remain in work. It provides Participants with pre-employment support for a period of up to 12 months (potentially 18 months for Intense Participants), and In-Work support for a period of up to 12 months. The Service will support Participants who face a range of barriers to employment: from those who may require skills, health or literacy and numeracy support; to those for whom complex barriers and/or disabilities require more specialised support to help them find and sustain employment. The Service will be tailored to meet individual needs and will provide a voluntary and coherent range of specialist support that responds flexibly and effectively to meet the needs of individual Participants and their employers. There is currently 2 years remaining on this contract to date. These Participants must be in receipt of a reserved UK out of work benefit, unless they are disabled, and will be either: - aged 18 years old and over, out of work and living in Scotland; or - aged 16 or 17 years old and are either disabled or in receipt of Employment and Support Allowance. We are looking for an End to end delivery partner who will be responsible for the entire participant journey: engaging participants, supporting them into work and helping them to sustain in work in line with contract requirements. All programme starts will be required to be generated by the successful provider. There will be no referrals received by DWP Jobcentre Plus for this contract. It is intended for the successful provider to go live with this contract in September 2019.
