### Lot Information

Advocacy Services for Vulnerable Adults

1.1. To provide a professional independent advocacy service for individuals throughout East Renfrewshire. The services are to be provided across different care groups including Mental Health, Adults with Learning Disabilities, Carers and services to Older People with a particular focus on Adult Support and Protection. Independent Advocacy plays a vital role in supporting people to express their views and support them to gain the confidence to express their views themselves in the full knowledge that their advocate has no conflict of interest in the support they provide.

Renewal: Option to extend for a further 12 months.

Looked After Children & Young People

To provide an independent professional advocacy service for children and young people who are or have been looked after including referrals relating to children involved in the Child Protection process, those with a learning or any other disability and young carers.

Renewal: Option to extend for a further 12 months.

Vulnerable Children & Young People

To provide an independent professional advocacy service for children and young people who are considered to be vulnerable by way of mental health, child protection, caring responsibilities, learning disability.

Renewal: An option to extend for a further 12 months.
