## Summary

The Highland Council is seeking to establish a Trade Services Framework Agreement for the year 2019, aimed at facilitating the repair, maintenance, and execution of minor works essential for the upkeep and enhancement of its estate. This initiative is classified under the works procurement category and is based in Inverness, UK. The procurement is currently at the planning stage and has undergone several updates, notably extending key submission deadlines to allow bidders ample time to prepare their proposals. The latest date for tender submission is set for 10th October 2019, with a bid validity period concluding on 2nd December 2019.

This framework provides significant opportunities for businesses engaged in construction and maintenance sectors, particularly those offering services in building repairs, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance. Companies equipped to handle various trades can effectively compete for the maximum of six supplier positions per lot within designated geographic areas. The council's emphasis on sustainability and community benefits underscores their commitment to collaboration with local businesses, which can further enhance supplier visibility and engagement within the public procurement ecosystem.

## Notice

The requirement includes an element of capital work and covers both domestic and non-domestic properties and planned and reactive work.
