## Summary

Angus Council is initiating a public procurement process for the provision of Quality Funded Early Learning and Childcare (QFELC) services in Angus, UK. This tender is currently in the planning stage, with the aim to review and amend existing childcare models in response to the increased entitlement from the Scottish Government, effective from August 2020. Interested parties should note that the deadline for submitting completed surveys regarding this initiative is 26 August 2019, and further engagement discussions with selected providers will occur in September 2019.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in early childhood provision, including childminders, nurseries, and voluntary playgroups, particularly those that can meet the national principles and standards required by the Care Inspectorate.
