## Summary

The procurement process, initiated by the University of Edinburgh, pertains to the supply and installation of GPU nodes for a Deep Learning research and teaching cluster, titled "MT0854 – GPUs." This procurement falls within the education services industry and is located in Edinburgh, UK. The process utilised an open procurement method and was conducted under the CCS Framework RM3733, specifically designed for technology hardware. The contract was awarded on 10 June 2019, with a total value of £133,500. The process successfully attracted three bids, all submitted electronically, ensuring a competitive environment for suppliers.

This tender presents significant opportunities for companies specialising in technology hardware, particularly those capable of supplying GPU nodes and associated installation services. Businesses that deliver solutions compatible with nVidia Geforce RTX 2080 Ti and can address the specific requirements of cooling and format constraints would be well-positioned to compete. Additionally, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the tech sector are encouraged to participate, as evidenced by the successful bids garnered from SMEs in this procurement process.
