NHS Lanarkshire Health Records Service has three scanning bureaus: one on each acute hospital site Hairmyres, Monklands and Wishaw. There are times when demand for scanning exceeds the available staffing levels and this prevents the service from meeting the Service Level Agreements with the hospital. The documents that are to be scanned are clinical documents contained with health record folders, these range from single documents to booklets which require to be prepped and indexed prior to scanning NHS Lanarkshire therefore wishes to put in place a term contract with a supplier of specialist scanning support staff on a call-off basis. This skilled staff bank can then be called upon as and when required up to the maximum value of GBP 100,000 (ex VAT).

Options: Additional services related to the main subject of the contract may be prchased by the Authority.
