## Summary

The Scottish Civic Trust is conducting a tender for the "Stone, Sea and Sky Architect" project, aimed at enhancing civic identity across Scotland's islands. This initiative is classed under the recreation, culture, and religion industries and will take place in locations including Stornoway, Lochmaddy, Rothesay, and Luing. The procurement method is an open procedure, and the tender period closes on 29 July 2019. The project has a total budget of £1,925, with specific lots available for interested parties, which include an architects brief for Stornoway and Lochmaddy, and one for Rothesay and Luing, culminating in public events in late September 2019.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in architecture, design, and the arts, particularly those with experience in place-making or community engagement projects. Firms that align with the goals of the Scottish Civic Trust and are equipped to handle creative and collaborative workshops would be well-placed to submit proposals. Companies interested in contributing to cultural initiatives or those seeking to expand their portfolios in public art and architectural services should consider this tender as a platform for growth.
