The overarching themes of the action plan are wide and far- reaching and given this there is a need for a flexible approach to meet the objectives of the plan and support purchasing of varied responses across the themes. This approach should offer suitable options that will facilitate implementation of the Action Plan.

DFS Challenge Fund Lot 2 - 1001-5000 GBP

There is a need to increase the capacity of local Dementia Friendly activities across the Council area to facilitate provision of person centred, co-produced Dementia Friendly activities designed to accommodate people living with dementia. There is currently no contract in place to support informal, community based Dementia Friendly resources. Given this there is a need for a flexible approach to meet the objectives of the plan and support the purchasing of varied responses across the themes. The Challenge Fund Approach should deliver a range of suitable options that will facilitate the implementation of the Action Plan. Bids are invited across 3 lots as follows: Lot 2 - 1001-5000 GBP There is no set limit on the distribution of spend across the lots. Proposals will be considered and evaluated in lots as determined by the value of the proposal. Applicants should complete the questionnaire that best aligns with the level of funding sought. All awards and their values will be determined by the fit of the proposal with Stirling Council and wider Health and Social Care Partnership and fundamentally the Dementia Friendly Stirling Action Plan to the total value of the Challenge Fund i.e. 100,000 GBP (60,000 GBP in 2019/2020.
