## Summary

NHS Lothian is seeking ongoing support for its Chemotherapy Electronic Prescribing System. This procurement falls within the health industry and is located in Edinburgh, UK. The procurement process is at the Award stage, with the contract signed on 30 July 2019, worth £312,529.36, and awarded to CIS Oncology. This limited procurement was conducted without prior publication of a call for competition, as the incumbent supplier holds a perpetual licence and is the only provider capable of delivering the required support services due to exclusive rights.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses that specialise in software support and healthcare services, particularly those with experience in electronic prescribing systems. Companies that are SMEs with the capacity to deliver ongoing technical support and enhancement services may find this contract aligns well with their capabilities. Additionally, as NHS Scotland reviews its needs in the coming years, there may be future opportunities for businesses to engage in re-procurement efforts.
