The current website has over 67,000 pages, files, documents and articles and on average 200,000 page views a month. NHS Fife recognises the value of high quality and targeted communications to support the delivery of service and we are seeking to create a new website, hosting and development platform through this contract. The website will be constructed to meet our user needs and incorporate current best practice in User Experience (UX) Increased mobile and tablet device usage will require a flexible and responsive design approach that will allow easy access of relevant information through various touch points and also improve transparency. A cloud-based hosting infrastructure is to be implemented with back-up and a content delivery network (CDN) facilities. Full details of the requirements can be found in the tender specification documents. Options: The successful bidder, providing performance has been satisfactory, may be invited to enage and supply NHS Fife with additional design and build services as and when required providing an agreement can reach on a similar costing module over the contract period. NHS Fife reserves the right to engage with the awarded bidder under the terms of this contract to meet any additional requirements over the contract period including possible contract extension.
