Through the provision of family centres the aim is for them to be: 1. welcoming, friendly, homely hubs where families can access a range of different services, facilities and activities; 2. the natural places to come to for advice, information, tips and support; 3. places where: -parents can support each other as well as get support from professionals or others in the community; -families can learn, play and have fun together; and -families enjoy coming to and feel they belong.

Lot 2 Rainbow Family Centre at Park, Stranraer - the gateway service will include the provision Early Learning and Childcare for eligible 2-year olds (separately funded) plus family support. Through the provision of family centres the aim is for them to be: 1. welcoming, friendly, homely hubs where families can access a range of different services, facilities and activities; 2. the natural places to come to for advice, information, tips and support; 3. places where: -parents can support each other as well as get support from professionals or others in the community; -families can learn, play and have fun together; and -families enjoy coming to and feel they belong.
