## Summary

The Scottish Government is conducting a tender for the project titled "Social Security Experience Panels: Seldom Heard work stream 3: End of life," aimed at understanding the experiences of bereaved parents and individuals with terminal illnesses in Scotland regarding social security. This procurement falls under the services category and is at the Tender stage, with the bid submission period closing on 10th September 2019. The delivery of services will be required across Scotland, and the procurement method is an open procedure, with an allocated budget of £15,000 for this initiative.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in research recruitment and fieldwork, particularly those with expertise in working with sensitive demographic groups. Companies that can demonstrate their capability to engage with bereaved individuals and terminally ill patients, and provide thorough analysis and reporting, would be well-positioned to compete. Additionally, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, as evidenced by previous statistics showing SME involvement in bids for similar contracts.
