## Summary

The Scottish Police Authority is conducting an open procurement process for the Mobile Device Repair Services contract, aimed at supporting the rollout of the 'National Mobile Working' solution to approximately 10,000 Police Officers in Glasgow. The contract, with an estimated value of £499,000, is currently in the active tender stage, with a submission deadline set for 19 September 2019. Interested bidders should be aware that the duration of the contract will be three years, with potential extensions available, depending on the Authority's discretion.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in mobile device repair services, particularly those capable of catering to the specific needs of public sector agencies. Companies that excel in quality control, have robust insurance coverage, and can demonstrate experience with similar projects will be well-positioned to compete for this contract. Furthermore, businesses focusing on sustainability and community benefits will align well with the Authority's commitment to responsible procurement practices.

## Notice

The Scottish Police Authority (known as the "the Authority") has a requirement for a new contract for the provision of a Mobile Device Repair Service. The Authority is required to tender this opportunity to appoint a suitably experienced and competent Contractor. The Authority is in the process of rolling out a 'National Mobile Working' solution to 10,000 Police Officers across Scotland. Phase two of the contract if taken up will see the solution rolled out to a further 7000 Police Officers. This solution will see the roll out of 10,000 and a potential further 7000 Samsung Galaxy Note 9 mobile devices by March 2020. Furthermore Police Scotland is in the process of refreshing the corporate mobile device estate and is rolling out 1800 devices, namely a mixture Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Samsung A5 devices. Given the significant investment in these devices the Authority requires a contract in place for the repair of devices on an 'as and when required' basis.
