## Notice

North Ayrshire Council require a single provider to deliver a locality community-based network to enable service users to engage with and invest in community assets. This is a preventative and early intervention model of support and particularly suited to vulnerable adults who, because of their low level of need do not generally meet the eligibility criteria for mainstream social care provision and/or self-directed support. The service will be required to enable individuals to connect to individuals, groups, organisations, activities, social enterprise organisations, services and places in their neighbourhood/community. This service will be provided to up to 12 individuals with learning disabilities. These individuals will have the capacity to work towards a degree of independence. An enabling approach will be required to enable individuals to become more independent. Members of the network will also be encouraged and supported to help one another.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

The network will require to be supported by a Link Worker with management support who will be required to; Live in the same area as the community so they are familiar with local services and can identify the need for additional/specialist support of individual members quickly. Work flexibly with the group and individuals to provide housing support, develop community connections and facilitate mutual support among the members of the network. The service provider will be required to set up 1 network initially, but the expectation will be to increase the number of networks by the end of the contract term. The service will be required to support delivery of the individual outcomes listed below for network members. Development of independent travel skills. Increased friendships and positive relationships. Development of money management skills. Life skills developed to access support to maintain tenancy, access support, maintain hygiene and general wellbeing. Increased confidence and self-esteem. Exploration of employment and volunteering opportunities in line with individual skills and interests. Connecting with the community, accessing social and recreational opportunities. Individuals attending the service must be involved in the development of their support plan. Staff employed to deliver the service will require to be PVG scheme members. The duration of this procurement will be up to 2 years. The service will be reviewed after 1 test year. The overall budget for this procurement will be up to 84,000GBP over the 2-year duration. (up to 42,000GBP per annum).. Please note, the final date for Expressions of Interest is 12 noon, Friday 30 August. Should the service be tendered, only service providers who have expressed an interest by this time will be invited to tender. Providers must have the relevant experience to carry out this requirement.
