## Summary

The University of Strathclyde is planning a procurement process titled "Block storage array," within the education industry sector, located in Glasgow, UK. The procurement, classified as a tender, aims to source a hybrid or all-flash Block Storage Array with a capacity of 750 Tebibytes, to be replicated across two datacentres. Interested parties must register by 17:00 on 6th September 2019, and a questionnaire will be sent to registered entrants on 9th September, with responses due by 17:00 on 13th September 2019.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses in the technology and IT sectors, especially those specialising in data storage solutions, to expand their operations. Companies that offer hybrid and all-flash storage technologies, as well as those providing comprehensive technical support and consultancy services, would be particularly well-suited to compete. The engagement with a reputable buyer like the University of Strathclyde could also pave the way for long-term partnerships in future projects.

## Notice

The University seeks registrations of interest for a potential procurement exercise to source a hybrid or all-flash Block Storage Array, to connect to an existing SAN, with 750 Tebibytes of effective capacity, replicated between 2 datacentres. Capabilities must include: synchronous replication, snap-cloning of Oracle databases, VMware v-vols, CommVault integration, a web based management interface and performance monitoring software. The overall solution must also include technical consultancy, product training, support and maintenance for 5 years.
